The Regional Library presents the months of July and August the "A summer book" campaign, which aims to facilitate the loan of works to residents in tourist areas.
The bibliobuses will visit the hamlet of El Berro, in Alhama, to facilitate the loan of books, offering its more than 75,000 volumes as a way to promote reading.

During the summer of 1998, expanding the area of ​​provision of the service of library buses and with the aim of bringing the loan of works to the greatest possible number of readers, the campaign 'A book summer' was launched, consisting of the creation of new routes for the bookbuses that brought them to the most tourist towns in the Region.
In 2017 almost 4,000 loans were made.
Among the books borrowed, as is logical on holiday dates, those with narrative content, both children and adolescents as well as adults.
Users only have to present their card of the Regional Network of Public Libraries, or they are provided with one, just by presenting their DNI.
How to get the loan of a book?
The use of this service will only require the presentation of the DNI or any document accrediting the user.
The return of the borrowed books will be done in the same library, in the next visit that he makes, or by sending them by mail to the Regional Library, Avda. Juan Carlos I, 17 30,008 Murcia or personally in it, and whose schedule is :
8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday to Friday (July 16 - August 15).
9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
