Citizens in Alhama de Murcia has amply demonstrated their malice and immorality throughout these three years we have been in office.
This "new party", composed of defenestrated politicians from other ranks, mainly from the PP, began its journey in the municipality deceiving the whole world: its militants, its voters and the Popular Party itself, making a clandestine pact via Whatsapp with This group to burst the investiture of Diego Conesa and prevent his appointment as mayor.
To retreat in extremis and leave them lying, something that many qualified -actually- as a betrayal.
And following that elegant, responsible and collaborative line (irony), this past weekend Citizens valued the departure of the former mayor with a despicable note, plagued by resentment and disrespect towards who has been the highest representative of all Alhama and Alhama, democratically elected by a majority of voters.
With the title "See you later Mr. Marshall" the text starts saying "Bye, bye! A mayor who said blah, blah, blah, ... his speech Ramonet style dazzled the pedestrians of the market ... as did that Alicante today his speech disappears and he goes with the saddlebags and blankets to Murcia ... The market of Alhama remains an orphan of what was to be a prodigal son ".

The text, more typical of an illiterate reproach than a municipal group worthy of representing its voters, accuses the local government of not having done anything these three years.
We would like to reiterate whether ... the cover of the Plaza de Abastos, the remodeling of the Cine Velasco, the reform of the La Costera school, the CEIP Sierra Espuña dining room, the replacement works of the drinking water and sanitation networks, the change of luminaries, educational workshops and opening of tracks, improvement in services, the commitment to youth employment, the removal of all debts, works in educational centers, recovery of trails, wifi in the districts, climbing wall, the decided transparency that places us at the head of Spain, school and sports scholarships, the regularization of teachers and monitors, the improvement and promotion of our parties, traditions and culture, the change of Social Services aid model, etc. ... all that has been done alone.
What nobody knows is the work that C's has done for Alhama in these three years.
And the answer is just as simple as it lasts: nonexistent.
The only real responsibility that this party has had to improve our municipality was to "force" the PP in the Regional Assembly to include in the budgets of these years the improvements demanded by the residents of Alhama, and that are not too many: build once and for all the new IES Valle de Leiva and finance 50% of the athletics track of the Guadalentín complex.
They have not done either one or the other.
Let the people judge.
On the other hand, where there has been a focus of conflict, Citizens have been throwing fire on the fire, often together with the Popular Party: the mosque in the suburb of the Philippines, the location of the new institute, citizen security, the controversy with a doctor of the health center, social alarm with asbestos and legionella, the waste room of the square, the works on the street Parricas ... Just see the difference in the work of constructive opposition made by the PSOE in the previous term , launching educational programs in schools to learn English, helping people with more difficulties, being loyal and proposing motions, such as PACOPOL, to ensure the sustainability of our City Council, among others.
On the other hand, the opposition of C's as crutch of the Popular Party this legislature has consisted of putting sticks on the wheels from the beginning and in the most despicable way, the personal attacks and the permanent confrontation.
Just the opposite of what our society demands to re-trust politics and politicians.
These days we have read in the media another scandal, how Citizens captures militants in Murcia: "We pay the membership for a year and that's it", certified through conversations of those responsible (https://bit.ly/2Mhw9AH ).
We are also witnessing a riot of councilors, candidates and members of their lists, fed up with seeing all these practices, one of the last cases of the Zarandona pedáneo.
This Saturday June 16 is the inauguration of Mariola Guevara as the first woman mayor of the municipality.
