Local Police of Alhama will now carry out their reports on a monthly basis (before annual) to provide more detailed information on the actions in the different areas of their competence that are carried out, starting last May.
Under the agreement of cooperation between the UCAM and the City of Alhama de Murcia, has allowed a student of the degree of Criminology, Alba Sanchez, has done their practices in the premises of Local Police in order to know the functions of this body and put into practice the knowledge that has been developed throughout his academic career.
Once the practices were presented, the project for carrying out a report with the actions carried out by the Local Police during the past month was carried out through Jefatura.
The memory is divided into three large blocks:
· Actions on road safety, which reflect the sanctioning processes that have been pronounced and the different infractions that have been committed.
These have been disaggregated by margins of age, by sex, by hours of the day and focusing on the areas where more altercations occur.
· Actions in matters of citizen security, where 163 interventions have been carried out in the last month, such as vandalism, care for animals, assistance to people or mediations and conciliations.
These incidents have also been broken down by turns.
· Actions in matters of administrative police, which contain everything related to the current municipal ordinances and actions that have been carried out by the local police, highlighting the street cleaning ordinance and municipal waste management.
In addition, it also includes the prevention work that is done to minimize these statistics.
José Antonio Toral, Chief Local Police Officer, thanked Alba Sánchez for "helping to prepare this report, for the respect, punctuality and for his willingness to ask their concerns and want to improve."
