The Department of Infrastructure and Public Services informs that they are going to carry out the necessary works to provide an adequate service of drinking water supply and sanitation to the streets Colón, Alfonso X and adjacent.

Through these works, the supply network for drinking water and sanitation in this area will be renewed in an integral manner, including the connections to homes and businesses, and the complete replacement of the asphalting of these roads will also be carried out.

The works are scheduled to begin on Monday, July 9, 2018 and have an estimated execution time of 5 months.

The budget amounts to the amount of 672,475.06 euros.

Both from the Department of Infrastructure and Public Services and from the company responsible for water service, SOCAMEX, will do everything possible to meet deadlines, so that the inconvenience that may occur are the minimum essential and not lengthen in the more time than necessary.

This action is in addition to the works already executed to date, such as the improvement of the supply networks in the streets Pedro Gambín, Lorenzo Andreo, Roque Sánchez Javaloy and Fray Junípero Serra, for an amount of 359,853 euros, emergency works of renovation of sanitation and supply in the neighborhood of Carmen, with a cost of 1,131,987 euros, the project of installation of pumping for supply in the deposit of Carrascoy, for 184,146 euros and the replacement of networks in the street Isaac Albéniz, with an amount of 62,430 euros.
