This Thursday a meeting was held, convened by the councils of Social Services and Local Police, to discuss the draft of the new ordinance that regulates the parking card for vehicles for people with reduced mobility in Alhama.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Federation of Murcia Associations of People with Physical and Organizational Disability (FAMDIF), the Association of Disabled Alhama de Murcia (ADAM) and the Association of Rare Diseases D'Genes, as well as councilors of Services Social and Local Police, and the political groups of Izquierda Unida and Ciudadanos.
The document regulates the new assumptions of granting the parking card, as well as the new rights of the card holders.
It also proposes three types of parking spaces for people with reduced mobility, highlighting the reservation of registered seats for those who have serious mobility problems and for humanitarian reasons.
So many associations and political groups made proposals for improvement that will serve to enrich the initial draft that will be debated for approval in the ordinary plenary of this month of September.
