The general director of Roads, Francisco González Manzanera, supervised today the works that are carried out in the regional highway RM-603, that connects the hamlet Murcia of El Palmar with the municipality of Mazarrón, to improve the drainage and avoid that the rainy days there are crawls and water is stored in the road.

The action, which takes place in a section that runs between the districts of El Cañarico and Casas Nuevas, consists of the construction of a concrete gutter that will channel the water to a pit.

Two underground pipes will also be installed that will cross the road to empty into a canal that the neighbors built to collect rainwater.
