This morning the Mayor, Mariola Guevara, and the Councilor for Infrastructure and Public Services, Antonio Garc韆, along with municipal technicians, have received the act of the works of the street Parricas, from the company that has done the work.
The project is part of the works carried out by the City Council in different neighborhoods of the municipality to improve the supply and sanitation networks, many of them in old streets, where houses have suffered problems due to water losses.
Parricas street has been completely renovated.
The works, with an adjudication cost of 419,112.36 euros, consisted of the installation of the pavement to a single platform and the replacement of the supply and sanitation networks, as well as the connections to each dwelling.
In addition, a new lighting has been added to the streets on a platform four meters high, with latest generation LED lighting.
Pipes have been inserted for the passage of fiber optic cabling and natural gas network.
It also has an access to the El Pra韈o sports complex through a new staircase.
The project establishes the placement of a pivot at the entrance of Parricas street from Miguel de Cervantes street.
with the objective of access to the road by neighbors, as well as emergency vehicles among others, to reduce the massive influx of traffic.
"It has been equipped with an automatic pylon and a camera in the main access of the street, as well as the painting of road markings and signage for greater security", explains the Councilor for Infrastructure and Public Services.
The City Council has reached an agreement with the neighbors to leave open access to all vehicles during the following times:
路 From 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
路 From 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
路 From 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.
路 From 7:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m.
路 From 23:30 06:00 hours
路 Sundays and holidays
Note: This opening and closing proposal may be modified depending on the traffic.
Garcia has expressed that "the position of the City Council is always to take into account the opinion of the neighbors and try to reach agreements for the common good".
For his part, Mariola Guevara also stressed that "the investment aims to improve the accessibility of this street and make it safer for the use and enjoyment of all Alhame駉s, but especially the neighbors of the neighborhood."
