On Sunday December 2, coinciding with World Volunteer Day, the City Council of Alhama, through the Department of Environment, and in collaboration with the company Paparajote Factory and Ecoembes, will make a recycling day of 11: 00 to 14:00 h.
in the Plaza de la Constitución.
The action is part of the 'Recycle and Breathe' campaign of Ecoembes, which the Alhameño Consistory joined in June of last year.
The objectives of this day are:
• Awareness in the daily actions of recycling and the importance of the separate collection of waste in the adult population.
• Raise awareness about the importance of recycling and citizen participation in the reduction of waste.
• Promote the collection separately at source, from the homes themselves and facilitate their subsequent recycling.
To work on the importance of the separation of waste for the environment, especially the containers whose destination is the yellow container, the monitors will provide information on recycling and air pollution to the public, who can participate in different activities such as puzzles, questions, or a photocall in which attendees can take a photo and take it as a souvenir for free.
In addition there will be other gifts such as backpacks, notebooks or panties for the neck.
The City Council encourages residents and visitors to get closer and learn a little more about recycling.
Your collaboration is fundamental.
