The City of Alhama de Murcia, through the Department of Social Services, announces the granting of economic benefits, aimed at families or people with difficulties for the payment of basic supplies of water, electricity and gas.
The application deadline, which begins next Monday, November 12, will remain open until the budget available for these aids is exhausted.
The objective of these economic benefits is to contribute to reducing and alleviating the situations of energy poverty that may suffer those families or people from the municipality of Alhama de Murcia.
The City Council of Alhama has a total amount of € 15,092.10 that has been subsidized by the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities of the CARM.
These grants can be requested to pay receipts for:
Electrical supply
Potable water supply
Gas supply
High and / or reconnection of supplies
Some of the main requirements, to access these benefits, are:
The applicant must be of legal age or an emancipated minor.
Be registered in the municipality of Alhama de Murcia, at least three months in advance.
Be the holder of the supply contract.
In the case of rented dwellings where the owner of the supply is the owner of the dwelling, the rental agreement must be presented.
During the three previous months, the Per Capita Income of the Coexistence Unit will not be higher than 55% of the IPREM, that is, RPC less than 344.64 € / month

The economic benefits that are granted may be up to a maximum of € 300 per applicant.
