ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN has launched the recycling project 'Sustainable Work Center' for the selective collection of household waste, which will be extended to the entire company during the first half of next year.
The objective of this action is to promote among the 5,000 workers of the company the acquisition of a culture of recycling with the recovery of primary packaging and transfer that awareness work to their homes.
ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN has started this project today with the training actions initially aimed at fifty employees.
In the coming months, it will be extended to the rest of the workforce.
This initiative includes the installation of selective collection points for paper-cardboard containers, as well as plastic containers, cans and bricks in the company's common areas such as cafeterias, rest areas and offices.
The project is carried out in collaboration with Ecoembes, the non-profit environmental organization that coordinates the recycling of packaging throughout Spain, and which has facilitated the installation of 50 recycling bins.
The City Council of Alhama de Murcia also collaborates, through the municipal waste collection company FCC and its logistics services, to carry out the recovery and recycling of these materials.
ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN is a company committed to the environment, which is why it contemplates environmental projects in the development of its activity that allow us to move towards a circular economy.
