The City Council of Alhama de Murcia, together with the Alhama Basketball Club and Sports Mentality, is carrying out the program 'Alhama en valores'.
A project for the integral development of values ​​in sports contexts that aims to show the importance of roles (coaches, fathers and mothers) in the promotion of these skills for optimal psychosocial development in young athletes.
The program, structured in four blocks, began last January with the collection of data and analysis of the reality of Alhama with regard to the sports values ​​that are instilled and the psychological well-being promoted by the clubs and sports associations of the municipality.
This month of April will begin the training of coaches and families, as agents in charge of the transmission of the known values ​​that are associated with the sport.
To this end, two parallel workshops have been organized, which will take place next Thursday April 11 at 8:00 p.m.
The one destined for families will take place in the auditorium of the Business Incubator and the one that is aimed at coaches will take place in the training room of the Guadalentín Sports Complex.
The approximate duration will be one hour.
This training will be free for interested persons and with free access until full capacity is reached.
