ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN participates in the 30th Congress of the Spanish Diabetes Society, which is being held in Seville until tomorrow, Friday, to publicize the ELPOZO BienStar range of foods and the benefits of including them in a healthy diet aimed at diabetics.
In particular, the food company is providing information materials with recommendations and advice so that the more than 1,200 health professionals present in this congress can use them in consultation with their patients.
In addition, the company is present in the thirtieth edition of this meeting with a stand of ELPOZO BienStar, the brand specialized in health, offering tastings of their references.
Participants are also learning about their heart-healthy properties and receiving advice and recommendations from a dietitian.
The objective of this meeting is to address health needs that help improve nutrition and promote healthy lifestyles.
Currently, 13.8 percent of Spaniards over 18 have type 2 diabetes, which is equivalent to more than 5.3 million people.
Of them, almost 3 million are diagnosed, but 2.3 million, 43 percent of the total, are unaware that they have the disease.
