Grupo Fuertes and the University of Murcia today handed out the diplomas to the 21 students of the different degrees of the Faculty of Economics and Business that participated in the first promotion of the Business Talent 2019 training program of the Chair of Business Excellence of Grupo Fuertes.
This project began at the beginning of this year to promote the business talent among the most outstanding students of the last years of the faculty and establish a direct connection between the business reality and the academic day to day of the students.
The ten-week Business Talent program is one of the most important lines of work of the Chair of Grupo Fuertes to facilitate the incorporation into the working world of students.
This initiative is completed with internships in the company, participation in international development programs for the pursuit of business excellence and the conduct of research and studies.
On the occasion of the closing of the program, the students, accompanied by the dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the UMU, Samuel Baixauli, visited the installations of ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN within the day 'Directing for a day', where they have been received by the president of the company, Tomás Fuertes, and its CEO, José Fuertes, with whom they have been able to discuss business management.
Grupo Fuertes has established two chairs at the UMU, the one related to the Faculty of Economics and Business and the other one on Food Safety and Sustainability, of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, to promote innovation and internationalization and apply the results of knowledge to business activity.
These actions are an example of the close relationship that this company has with the teaching institution in the field of R + D + i.
