During the 2011-2015 term, the government team formed by Partido Popular and CCD (former Citizens' brand and with which it shares some members of its list) raised the receipt of the Contribution by more than one million euros (36%).
And they did it after promising in campaign that they would lower the fiscal pressure to the neighbors.
The Popular Party then collected in its program "Continue our policy of freezing the tax burden for citizens," while CCD pledged to "maintain the bonus established in the cadastral review so that the receipt does not trigger for our citizens. "
Now, four years later, the extreme right-wing moderate Popular Party and Citizens again use the tax cuts as a "trickster" that allows them to pick up a handful of votes, which is joined by radical extreme right Vox promising to lower "all the taxes. "
In the Socialist Party we wonder if they say it because of ignorance of the municipal accounts or directly lie to the people knowingly.
In view of what was seen in the last legislature, we are clear that it is the second.
And is that a reduction in taxes necessarily implies the elimination of many of the services provided by the City.
We invite these parties to openly say what services they want to remove and the people that affect them.
But before May 26, not after.
In this game we are not going to demagogue with something so serious.
Taxes are an essential element in order to maintain all services and it is only in dictatorships where they are not paid.
Nobody can give us lessons on tax cuts, since we have been the only party with government responsibilities in Alhama in democracy that has lowered them, reducing the rate of rubbish by 30% to all those over 65 and people living alone with less than 800 euros per month, freezing the receipt of the Contribution throughout the legislature and reducing more than 50% the IBI of the rustic land near the town valued as urbanizable.
To this we must add the freezing of many municipal taxes, such as the fee paid by parents for taking their children to nursery schools and bonuses for the use of municipal facilities.
And all this in spite of having found us a Town Hall indebted by the governments of the right;
in these four years we have had to pay 3.2 million euros between judgments and debts with banks and workers, which has not prevented us from making investments worth 12 million euros and increasing all the services that the City provides to its neighbors and neighbors.
When this term ends we will leave the debt to zero and money in the banks to continue investing.
For this next term we are committed to maintain that reduction in the rate of garbage and to establish progressive criteria for taxes that depend directly on the City Council.
Following this line and thinking especially about youth, we will create the Alhama Youth Card, with discounts on activities, services and facilities.
Facts in front of verbiage and deceptions.
