Alhama de Murcia, May 15, 2019. - The Socialists of Alhama have met with representatives of the AMPAs of the municipality to listen to their requests and proposals.

In this we have transferred to the mothers and fathers of the municipality the work done during the last four years and we have presented our proposals for the next term, in case they place their trust in us again.

Mariola Guevara, candidate for mayor of Alhama de Murcia, conveyed the special importance of public education for socialists.

He informed those present of the actions and programs that have been developed over the past four years (workshops in educational centers on drug addiction, alcoholism, sexual-affective relationships and new technologies, start-up of the young establishment in 'El Círculo', extension of the projections in the Cine Velasco, among others) and exposed the new proposals for the next term (new youth card, improvements in the ZampaBus service, new sports pavilion, besides continuing with the services and projects put in place in the legislature that ends ).

The intention of this team was to recover the old carnival of masks, more characteristic and more rooted in Alhama for next year.

Socialists will continue to focus on the inculcation of civic and social values ​​in our children, promoting all kinds of activities for young people.

The constant blockage and delay caused by the Regional Government in the much needed new Valle de Leiva IES was reported.

They explained the obstacles and excuses that have been putting from the regional administration and that have prevented this project is completed despite the fact that the City Council has put all the facilities within our reach to have been possible.

It was also reported the effort made by the City Council with the Gloria Fuertes children's school and the Los Cerezos CAI, which have a cost of € 400,000 per year, to continue maintaining the quota frozen since 2015, the year in which we acceded to the Alhama town hall. , in order to continue facilitating family reconciliation for all Alhameños and Alhameños who need it.
