This Thursday, July 4, at the Training and Employment Center of Alhama de Murcia, the Collective Training Day has taken place for the new companies selected for the accreditation process of the II Phase of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism (CETS) .
The event was opened by Leticia Pareja, Councilor for Tourism, Employment and Local Development, Trade and Hospitality of the City of Alhama.
In addition, a representative of the Espuña Turística Association (Association of tourism companies of the territory), who presented the association and told his experience as an accredited company with the CETS.
Four companies are participating in this new call: an accommodation with a restaurant and three activities merchants.
The CETS companies collaborate actively with the Park and the Territory in promoting sustainable tourism in the area.
An additional effort to get the visitor the importance of an adequate environmental behavior and the enjoyment of a quality experience in a privileged environment.
These establishments not only assume the commitment to carry out initiatives of environmental improvement in their activity, they also support traditional economic activities, bet on the improvement of the quality of local life, promote collaborative work and the joint promotion of a tourist destination sustainable and of quality, such as the Sierra Espuña Regional Park.
