The City Council of Alhama de Murcia, through the Department of Parks and Gardens, has created a healthy urban itinerary in the Park El Palmeral as the first phase of an itinerary of greater distance than the east and west of the town of Alhama de Murcia.
This itinerary has two routes, a perimeter route through the park and another one through which you can access an area of ​​bio-healthy equipment.
In both, you can see various native species and Mediterranean climate because it is a park with a great diversity of arboreal and shrub species, making the walk more pleasant.
Each route deals with displacements on foot with acceptable distances between start and end points to be carried out in a reasonable time, and in which there are several rest areas.
Throughout the itinerary various informative posters that show the different routes are installed.
The City Council plans to reinforce the lighting at some points of the route to increase safety, in addition to the planting of a tree in the area of ​​biosaludables to generate more shadow spaces.

YELLOW COLOR TRAVEL
The yellow color is associated with the perimeter of the garden with a distance of 710 m.
starting on the sidewalk of the park at the intersection point with the avda.
Antonio Fuertes and Las Palmeras Street, continue along calle Carrascoy, slightly entering the park and through the Avda.

ORANGE COLOR TRAVEL
The orange route is presented as an alternative, resulting in this case a distance of 745 m., Section through which you can access an area of ​​gymnastic equipment and which can be closer to the plant species, sharing with the previous route the beginning and course by the street Las Palmeras, but in this case it is introduced at Carrascoy street level within the central corridor of the green zone, allowing the option to perform exercises with the gymnastic devices enabling an area for them , arriving until the middle of the park it leaves to the avda.
