Six of those courses will be in Alhama de Murcia offered by ElPozo Food, which will train students in butcher and meat products to fill positions in the company
The Ministry of Employment, Research and Universities, through the SEF, has resolved the award of 419,000 euros in grants to launch nine courses with hiring commitment for the unemployed, with a duration of between three and six months, and which are going to allow the incorporation into employment of at least 78 of its 195 participants.
Six of these courses will be offered in Alhama de Murcia by ElPozo Food, and will train students in butcher shop and meat products to work in this same company.
For the selection of participants, those unemployed who are long-term unemployed or belong to a vulnerable group will be prioritized.
The head of the Ministry, Miguel Motas, said today that this "ambitious" initiative of the SEF "is directly related to employment, because many of the members of these courses will be definitely hired. Therefore, we talk about the modality of courses more effective, for its direct connection to the labor market. "
This training program is doubly attractive because, on the one hand, it guarantees its students that at least 40 percent of them will sign an extendable six-month contract, while, on the other, companies have a way to train workers which is not found in the market, since these are positions with a very specific qualification.
In most cases, companies requesting these grants end up hiring a percentage of students greater than the minimum established.
In addition to the six courses of ElPozo, the Senda Gestión entity will provide a training action in social and health care to dependents in social institutions (the students hired will go to work for the Aidemar Association), while the Vigilant Academy will offer two surveillance, security courses private and protection of people (Vigilant herself will be the contracting party).
These courses are free for companies, which benefit from the possibility of incorporating workers who, thanks to this training period, are already familiar with the work activity to be developed later.
It is therefore a tailored training, which adapts exactly to the profiles that the company needs.
It is the staff of the SEF offices themselves who make the referral of students to these courses, depending on the profile required by the companies and the statistical crossing that is made with the database of people registered as unemployed.
