This Wednesday, September 11, representatives of the CPESRM (Professional College of Social Educators of the Region of Murcia) held a meeting with Mayor Mariola Guevara and the Councilor for Social Welfare, Seniors and Equality, Nani Navarro.
The meeting, attended by the CPESRM by its vice president, Francisco Méndez, and the members of the Government Board, Pedro José Tudela and Juan Pividal, is included within the priority line of action of the meeting college with the different heads of the local entities of the Region of Murcia.
Some of the issues that were addressed during the meeting were the request for support for the creation of a State Law of Social Education, the future Law of Social Services of the Region, the collaboration of the school in the opposition courts, as well as suitability of the work done by the social educator within different areas of attention to citizens: social services, equality, elderly, leisure and youth, etc.
The parties were summoned to hold future meetings in which to develop and address new issues.
