This morning the mayor, Mariola Guevara and the Councilor for Education, María José López, held a meeting with two representatives from the University of Murcia, María José Portillo, director of Unimar and Permanent Headquarters and Alicia Rubio, Vice Chancellor for Employment, Training and Society.
The reason for the meeting has been to propose the possible renewal of the operating conditions of a permanent University Extension headquarters in the municipality of Alhama de Murcia, through which joint activities aimed at permanent training, the promotion of culture would be developed and sport
The University of Murcia has among its fundamental objectives to promote the creation and dissemination of thought and culture, not only in the university community, but also in its environment and in society as a whole, in order to contribute to the integral formation of neighbors of the Region of Murcia.
