The City of Alhama de Murcia has today suffered a cyberattack through a sophisticated computer virus that has affected some of the services provided, encrypting the databases, similar to what other administrations and companies are suffering throughout the country .
For this reason, the Ventanilla Unica (OCAG) and Padrón services cannot be provided until the incident is corrected, since there is no possibility of access to the intranet or the Consistory databases.
Throughout the morning, several municipal areas and departments have been paralyzed where the use of computers interconnected to servers and databases is essential.
The municipal technicians are working intensely to try to restore the service as soon as possible, which implies a work of disinfection and immunization of the servers, as well as of all the computer equipment.
The attack has been brought to the attention of the National Cryptological Center, attached to the CNI, with the objective of restoring the network and the normal operation of this administration.
