This morning the Councilor for Infrastructure and Public Services, Antonio García, along with municipal technicians, have received the path of La Alcanara (Saladares del Guadalentín, district of Las Cañadas) after the completion of the conditioning work that has been carried out.
As a result of the torrential rains dated December 16, 2016, water embalms occurred, side firm barefoot and finally breakage and formation of soft spots on the Alcanara road.
For its arrangement, it has been decided to remove the existing material from the road, demolishing the firm and dropping it to a depth of 65 cm and extending a sub-base layer of 40 cm of macadam, a 25 cm base of artificial gravel compacted to the 98% of the modified Proctor and a triple surface treatment with curing irrigation in a width of 4.5 meters.
New road signs, two stop, two speed limits of 20 km / h and three limitations of 16 tons have also been added.
The treated length has been 1,450 meters, with a cost of adjudication of 108,172.79 euros, financed in 50% by the Government of Spain and the other 50% by the City of Alhama de Murcia.
