The inauguration of the selective training course for aspiring agents of the Local Police Corps of the Region of Murcia, in its XXXIX promotion, took place in the hall this morning.
At the reception were the four new agents of the Local Police of Alhama, who took possession of their internship position on December 20, accompanied by the Chief Commissar of Alhama, José Alfonso Toral, and the Councilor for Security and Citizen Protection, Felipe García.
Over the next few months, our agents, along with another 40 from different parts of the Region, will be formed for an approximate period of nine months and 1,000 teaching hours.
The first part of this training, theoretical-practical, has begun this Monday.
In it they will acquire knowledge, procedures and basic attitudes, through the development of five areas of knowledge and an area of ​​practices, which harmonize the training needs of students, the basic concepts, procedures and attitudes necessary for the professional practice and performance of The functions of Local Police personnel:
1. POLICE TECHNICAL AREA
2. LEGAL AREA
3. AREA OF TRAFFIC AND ROAD SAFETY
4. PSYCHOSOCIAL AND CRIMINOLOGICAL AREA
5. EMERGENCY AREA
6. AREA OF PRACTICE
CONFERENCES A cycle of lectures dealing with matters of police interest, as well as visits to courts and other institutions, is included in the course program.
The second phase, aimed at students who have passed the first, will cover from June 26 to September 20, 2020. The agents will be integrated into the ordinary police service of their respective municipality from that moment.
It constitutes a temporary space for training and validation of the professional competences acquired in the theoretical-practical training of the first phase.
It is intended that students apply the knowledge acquired and act appropriately to different situations in the development of their profession.
The Councilor for Security has wished the agents a good training during this period.
