A group of researchers from the Department of Animal Reproduction of the National Institute of Agricultural and Food Technology and Research of Madrid (SGIT-INIA) has won the 'National Strong Group Award' for the best food research work.
The winning project of this call, organized by the Academy of Veterinary Sciences of the Region, analyzes the effectiveness of a treatment on the pattern of fattening and fattening, and the quality of the carcass and meat.
This work aims at a greater benefit for the health of the consumer.
The award has been presented by the head of Scientific Research of El Pozo Alimentos, Antonio Avellaneda, to the authors of the project.
The researchers belong to the General Directorate of Research and Technology of INIA and are Antonio González de Bulnes, Ana de las Heras, José Luís Pesántez, Marta Vázquez, Consolación García, Susana Astiz and Beatriz Redondo, who, in turn, have donated the prize to the Vets for Africa association.
The Academy of Veterinary Sciences of the Region of Murcia (ACVRM) organizes this award with the aim of recognizing the work of the best professionals in the field of livestock and agri-food industries.
The event was held yesterday afternoon in the Hall of Degrees of the Faculty of Law of the University of Murcia.
Grupo Fuertes is the first Protector Academician of the Academy of Veterinary Sciences of the Region of Murcia, a distinction that recognizes the contribution of the business holding to the promotion and development of health sciences.
