The works for the construction of the new Institute of Secondary Education Valle de Leiva de Alhama de Murcia will begin next summer, as announced by the head of the regional Executive, Fernando López Miras, to the mayor of the municipality, Mariola Guevara, at the meeting that they kept today in the Palace of San Esteban.
"At the moment, the hiring process is in its final phase," said the Minister of Presidency and Finance, Javier Celdrán, at the end of the meeting.
This is a project that has a tender budget of 4.2 million euros and will involve the creation of a new center with 18 secondary and six high school classrooms.
Likewise, it will have 6 doubling classrooms, two technological workshops, two music, one plastic, two science laboratories, one physics, another chemistry and two multipurpose classrooms.
In addition, among the issues discussed in the framework of the meeting between the president and the mayor, the arrangement of the RM-515 Alhama-Pliego road was discussed, "on whose project the regional government is already working" and the need for reform of the regional financing system, "essential for the regional administration to address the improvement of the financing of municipalities", in the words of Minister Celdrán.
