Students, parents and teachers will participate this Friday, January 31 in the 'III Ricardo Codorníu Solidarity Race on Wheels', for the benefit of CEOM (Association for the integration of people with intellectual disabilities).
It is expected that more than 800 people run in groups of about 80 people at intervals of 5 and 10 minutes for the little ones.
Children and some adults will travel in wheeled vehicles, without pedals or motor.
The departure of the students will be from 12:00 h.
and the tour will take place in the streets surrounding the school.
During the event the following streets will be cut: Almendrico road (one lane cut), Brazil street (total cut to Uruguay crossing), Uruguay street, Camilo José Cela street (total cut to Uruguay street).
From 1:30 p.m.
the act of delivery of the donation will take place on the sports court of the school.
CEOM
CEOM arises from the union of families in Murcia with members with intellectual disabilities, as a non-profit association.
The association aims to carry out activities of general interest in favor of people with intellectual disabilities or at risk of incurring it and their families;
trying to improve their quality of life and social integration through actions and activities that include: the study of their conditions and needs, prevention, early attention, training, occupation at work, leisure, sports, culture, guardianship, housing, and, in general, everything that contributes to the achievement of its purposes, although it will have to abide by the specific legislation that regulates such activities.
