For the third consecutive year, the Department of Sports organizes on Thursday, February 13, at the Velasco Cinema at 7:00 pm, the act of delivering aid for athletes of the town to collaborate in its development and sports projection, for an amount 4,000 euros.
A total of 36 outstanding and elite athletes from Alhama of the 2019 season, belonging to different clubs and sports associations, will receive these scholarships, after the assessment made by the commission and its approval by the Local Government Board
The bases for granting these merits establish two lines of aid that athletes have been able to opt for, on the one hand those who only participate in final stages of national championships and, on the other, who also do so in international competitions representing the Spanish team .
Athletes may use the aid primarily for the acquisition of material and equipment, as well as travel and stay in competitions.
