The Department of Environment and Sports report the completion of a course of initiation to hiking, with a total of 20 hours, subsidized by the City of Alhama de Murcia.
It is aimed at people over 17 years of age at the beginning of the course and not less than 18 when receiving the corresponding diploma, with a minimum academic training of School Graduate, Graduate in Compulsory Secondary Education, or its academic equivalent.
Start date: February 14, 2020.
End date: February 16, 2020.
Course schedule: Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Location: basement of the Plaza de la Constitución and Nature Hall Las Alquerías.
Fee: 12 euros.

Homologated trail network: typology of trails, network of nature trails in the Region of Murcia.
The canes: cane technique, regulation and measures, prevention of injuries.
Orientation: orientation technique, map reading, compass management, course taking.
Route design: management of Ozi Explored, Google Earth and Wikiloc.
Technical material: footwear, backpack, technical clothing and online material.
Basic knowledge of the natural heritage: botany, fauna, ethnographic resources, historical elements.
GPS use: basic GPS management, creation of waypoints and tracks, geocaching and data management.
Mountain security
