The Ministry of Health makes some recommendations in order to prevent possible contagion of the coronavirus COVID-19:
Hygienic measures to take at home
1. Make sure the rooms in the house are well ventilated (at least 5 minutes a day).
2. Perform daily cleaning, use soap and water for frequent contact surfaces.
Cleaning removes germs, dirt and impurities, it is important that there is a good cleaning before proceeding, if necessary, to a disinfection.
Hygienic measures to be taken in common areas of houses or housing estates
1. The person who performs the daily cleaning will have to do it with single-use gloves.
2. Make sure that the closed common areas are well ventilated (5-10 minutes a day at least).
3. Clean daily, first with soap and water.
In the surfaces it will be done paying more attention to reception areas and all those surfaces that are touched more frequently.
4. It will also use disinfectants that you will find in supermarkets, cleaning railings, push buttons, knobs, door handles, telephones, mail boxes, etc.
If possible, this activity will be carried out frequently depending on the traffic of the area (see list of virucidal products authorized for use by the general public).
5. Once cleaning is complete, remove the gloves, throwing them in the trash.
Subsequently, complete hand hygiene should be carried out, with soap and water, for at least 40-60 seconds.
Hygienic measures to take in private vehicles
It should be borne in mind that private vehicles can also be a source of contamination, so cleaning measures must be extreme.
Hygienic measures to be taken in public places
1. These places are supermarkets, pharmacies, work centers etc.
2. The cleaning and disinfection of places of public attendance will be done in accordance with the usual policy of cleaning and disinfection of the place to be treated, taking extreme measures of hygiene and reinforcing the set of critical points established in the system that is implemented.
3. In the event that disinfection uses virucidal products whose application requires specialized professional personnel (see list of authorized virucide products), the companies that carry out these treatments must be service companies that are expressly registered for this purpose in the Registry Official of Biocidal Establishments and Services of the Autonomous Communities.
Hygienic measures to be taken in cases of suspected or confirmed people with COVID-19 at home

2. The person doing the daily cleaning will have to do it with single-use gloves and a mask (if available).
3. Make sure the rooms in the house are well ventilated (at least 5-10 minutes a day).
4. Clean frequently contact surfaces first with soap and water daily.
5. You can also use disinfectants that you will find in supermarkets, cleaning door knobs, bathroom surfaces, bedside tables, remote controls, switches, bathroom and kitchen faucets, toilets, telephones, keyboards, tablets (See list of virucidal products authorized for use by the general public).
6. Cleaning will start from the farthest part of the entrance door towards it.
7. Once cleaning is complete, remove the gloves and, where appropriate, the mask, placing them in a bag that will be closed properly and discarded with the rest of the household waste.
Subsequently, complete hand hygiene should be carried out, with soap and water, for at least 40-60 seconds.
8. The washing of dishes, cutlery, and other kitchen utensils will be done with hot soapy water.
9. The laundry will be done with a normal laundry detergent.
Set the program with temperature, at least 60º.
Waste management in homes with patients
1. The patient's waste, including the disposable material used by the sick person (gloves, handkerchiefs, masks), must be disposed of in a plastic bag (BAG 1) in a dustbin arranged in the room, preferably with a lid and opening pedal, without making any separation for recycling.
2. The plastic bag (BAG 1) must be closed properly and put it in a second garbage bag (BAG 2), next to the exit of the room, where the gloves and mask used by the caregiver will also be deposited and closed properly before leaving the room.
3. BAG 2, with the previous waste, will be deposited in the garbage bag (BAG 3) with the rest of the household waste.
BAG 3 will also be closed properly.
4. Immediately after, complete hand hygiene will be carried out, with soap and water, for at least 40-60 seconds.
5. BAG 3 will be deposited exclusively in the rest fraction container (or in any other collection system of rest fraction established in the local entity), being strictly prohibited from depositing it in separate collection containers of any of the separated fractions (organic , packaging, paper, glass or textile) or its abandonment in the environment.
