The City Council of Alhama de Murcia, through its department of Pedanías, has signed new collaboration agreements with the neighborhood associations of the five districts for a total amount of 4,400 euros to Las Cañadas, Gebas, La Costera and El Cañarico.
The agreement establishes a fixed amount for each district of 3,500 euros, destined to develop its patron saint festivities, festive and cultural Christmas events, in addition to another 900 euros to cover management, information and dissemination expenses during 2020.El Berro has two associations.
One of them, El Abedul, responsible for organizing parties, receives 3,500 euros for this purpose, plus another 450 euros for management, information and dissemination expenses.
The neighborhood association receives another 450 euros also for management expenses. The agreement runs until January 6, 2021 and regulates with annexes the annual rendering of accounts to the Department of Pedanías by justifying the expenses with invoices, memory of activities, other income and data from the associations. Given the exceptional situation we are experiencing, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the agreement itself establishes that, if the parties could not be celebrated on the scheduled dates, they would be adapted according to the regulations in force at that time.
If it cannot be held because the situation does not allow it, other activities or acts that can be carried out, according to the moment, would be changed or adapted.
For this, a monitoring commission is established in clause 10.
