The situation derived from the Covid-19 pandemic and its expansion in our Region, has forced the deadlines for carrying out the short story literary contest in Alhama de Murcia to be modified.1,710 texts have been received from four continents (Europe, Asia, Africa and America), highlighting Europe with 1,093 and America with 615 stories.
The extension of deadlines and the slower time to carry out the records and database, has led to the dates of the preliminary, intermediate and final jury having been delayed. The Department of Culture and Heritage reports that, once the current circumstances and the de-escalation phases have been analyzed, in addition to the arrival of summer, it has decided to postpone the failure dates and awards ceremony to:JURY DECISION: Friday, November 6, 2020 at 12:00 noon.AWARDS DELIVERY: Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 8:30 p.m.
