With this extraordinary plenary session it was a matter of debating the deferred matters of the May ordinary plenary session, to which two more matters related to the Municipal Treasury were incorporated. With the approval of the credit transfer, steps continue to be taken to comply with the economic and social measures agreed in the plenary session on April 24, budgeting the Social Contingency Plan with € 120,000, the Municipal Employment Plan with € 207,000 and the Contingency Fund with 12,000.
Funds that are deducted from the project for the conditioning of the fairground in Nueva Espuña, which will not be carried out in 2020. With this, coverage is given for the reinforcement of personnel, benefits for families with minors, family support in Social Services.
Also to the hiring of laborers for the Works Brigade and the Cam-on program to support purchases in local commerce. On the other hand, a second extrajudicial procedure was proposed by the Municipal Government to deal with the payment of invoices from suppliers and companies that have provided services to our City Council, which have been presented with the 2019 financial year closed.
In this second package, the more than € 88,000 invoiced by the concessionaire of the Building Cleaning Service stand out, which exceed what is contemplated in the contract, and which in large part are due to the amortization of 3 positions of public workers for retirement, that have not been covered.
In this sense, from IU-Verdes we show our discrepancy in what we understand as a de facto privatization of the service provided by these public workers, which goes in the opposite direction to our proposal for the remunicipalisation of services. Regarding the postponed issues of the previous plenary session, from IU-Verdes we voted favorably to adopt measures to support youth in the Region of Murcia in the face of the Covid-19 crisis, since the young population constitutes the engine of society for its dynamism, its vitality, its rebellion and its critical capacity.
However, it is a sector of the population with serious problems for access to housing, labor insertion, the scarcity of offers for the healthy occupation of leisure time, which requires the involvement of the Regional Administration with planning to address difficulties.
that young people have. Regarding the proposal to enable the central part of the athletics track for the practice of other sports, in the IU-Greens program, as a point 1 in the sports section, the construction of a new soccer field is contemplated 7 , the renovation of the lawn and the expansion of changing rooms in the Guadalentin.
The use of the central part of the athletics track for other sports, in addition to not giving the regulatory measures for a soccer 11 or rugby field, would be a significant investment in the renovation and maintenance of the grass.
Likewise, the impossibility of simultaneous use is evident if launches are being made.
From IU-Verdes we understand that the solution to the problems of spaces that soccer may have, do not go through subtracting them from athletics, in a supposed compatibility of uses that, both from the economic and sports point of view, it may not report any profitability, quite the contrary. At IU-Verdes we feel embarrassed when some Groups make statements like that the athletics track is being paid by alhameños to be used by "outsiders", or in a "double pirouette and somersault" it is proposed to put artificial grass, to suspend the use for Throws which would disable the facility for most competitions - or that athletes who make pitches who travel to other locations to train. Finally, we show our support for farmers and ranchers, despite the fact that the motion in its first part is a mess of disconnected, confusing matters and with some meaningless proposals, but that in its second part it does specify support measures from the Region of Murcia.
to the productions of this sector.
