The Mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Mariola Guevara, and the President of the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services and Navigation of Murcia, Miguel López, have recently signed the collaboration agreement for the implementation of the CámON initiative!The objective of this project is to provide small businesses and retail establishments in Alhama with a tool with which to reactivate their sales, while helping families to make their purchases. CamON! It seeks to encourage consumption at a time of economic and social crisis, provide liquidity to small establishments by giving out their stock accumulated during the period of confinement and raising funds to restart their exploitation cycle, as well as raising awareness of the population of a social nature.

The action consists of the issue by the Murcia Chamber of Commerce of a series of bonds for a price of 15 euros each and exchangeable for purchases worth 25 euros in the commercial establishments that join the initiative.
The remaining part of each bond (10 euros) is financed through free contributions made by the Alhama de Murcia City Council and the Chamber of Commerce itself, which also performs the tasks of coordination and management of the entire process during the time it is valid.To date, there are 12 municipalities that have joined the project, where the Alhama City Council, with an allocation of 12,000 euros, is the one that has contributed the most funds to help strengthen and incentivize its local trade through this initiative, to which have already registered fifty hundred Alhamean businesses.
