The City Council of Alhama de Murcia, through the Department of Social Welfare, announces the granting of subsidies for the year 2020, aimed at supporting the actions carried out by associations and non-profit entities, with registered offices or that carry out their activities within of its territorial area of ??our municipality. The purpose of the call is to develop projects and actions for social action in Alhama, whether they are preventive, protective, promotional and integration, rehabilitative or raising awareness.
Likewise, the recipients of the actions proposed in the projects may be people in situations of risk or social exclusion, ethnic minorities, family and children, immigrants, people with disabilities, etc. The total amount allocated to these grants for the financial year 2020 is twenty thousand euros (€ 20,000), to be distributed among the selected projects, according to the valuation criteria established in the rules.
The deadline for submission of applications will be from July 11 to July 31, 2020. The specific conditions for granting these grants are regulated by the agreement of the Local Government Board of July 7, 2020, which approves the regulatory bases and the call for the granting of grants for social projects in Alhama.

Among the main requirements to be met by the requesting associations are:1.
Be legally constituted.2.
Be duly registered in the Register of Associations that corresponds according to their territorial scope, in addition to the Register of Associations and Citizen Entities of the City of Alhama de Murcia.3.
Have their registered office in Alhama de Murcia or carry out their activities within the municipal territory.4.
Have a social character, having to prove it through the purpose (in the field of social action or social services) contained in the statutes.5.
Be up to date with their obligations to the State Tax Administration Agency and their financial obligations towards Social Security.6.
Not having signed a collaboration agreement, a service contract, or other type of contracts or commitments, with the Alhama de Murcia City Council, regarding the purpose for which the financing is requested.
