The Councilor for Attention to the Neighbor, Pedro López, has reported that the City Council and the National Police are working to reestablish the service of obtaining and renewing the DNI for the residents of Alhama, without the need to travel to other municipalities.From September 7th, those people who have the expired document will be able to go to the Town Hall to make an appointment from 8:00 a.m.

to 9:00 a.m.

Here they will be given a sheet with the appointment time and, on the back, all the information about the documentation to present. The process is carried out in two steps:The first appointment will take place on Tuesday, September 22 between 9:00 and 12:00.

It will serve to take the fingerprint, data and signature.The second will be on Friday, September 25, from 9:00 a.m.

to 11:00 a.m., where the electronic DNI chip will be registered and the new document will be delivered.Obtaining and renovation will take place in the premises located on the ground floor of the Plaza de la Constitución, next to the Padrón.All the information of the documents to be presented can be consulted on the municipal website, HERE.Punctuality is very important, as well as going with a mask and doing it individually, except in the case of accompanying minors or people who need it. The Government of Spain has decreed that all those DNIs that expire in the period between March 14, 2020 and March 13, 2021 are automatically extended for another year.INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE RENEWAL OF THE DNIThe renovation will take place in the old premises of the Local Police (below the Plaza de la Constitución). Two visits will be made:On the first visit, the data, the fingerprint and the signature will be taken.On the second visit, the electronic DNI chip will be registered and it will be delivered to those interested. The aforementioned neighbors must show up at the appointed time provided with: FOR RENEWAL (R) / FOR LOSS OR THEFT (P)DNI (renewal only).1 photograph.€ 12.00 (free large family - provide photocopy).In case of loss or theft, you must provide a copy of the complaint before the Civil Guard. FOR THE FIRST TIME (PV)Photography.€ 12.00.Birth certificate (civil registry, indicating 'for the DNI').Informs of registration (census office, in front of the Local Police).Children under 14 must be accompanied by their father, mother or guardian. BY DATA CHANGE (CD)1 photograph.DNI.Registration report (change of address).Birth certificate (indicating 'for the DNI').Free, unless you have less than 3 months of validity to the DNI.HOME VISITSThey will be carried out only to people who, due to health reasons and duly justified (OFFICIAL MEDICAL JUSTIFICANT), present the impossibility of attending the center. Likewise, a representative of the incapacitated neighbor must make a visit to the home at the aforementioned time. All people who have the blue ID will have to have a copy on both sides.
