The Alhama de Murcia tourist office, along with 24 other offices in the Region, has obtained the SAFE TOURISM CERTIFIED seal, awarded by the Institute for Spanish Tourist Quality (ICTE).This seal, awarded after passing an independent audit, is granted by the ICTE with the support of the Secretary of State for Tourism to certify the implementation of contagion prevention measures against COVID-19.The Network of Offices of the Region of Murcia has become the first network in Spain to receive this badge, which has 25 tourist offices and two tourist information points in the Region. This seal joins those that the municipal Tourism office already holds, such as the Q for Quality, the T for Tourism Quality Commitment, ISO 9001 and the 'Responsible Tourism' of the Secretary of State for Tourism, in a clear commitment from the Department of Tourism for maintaining quality as the differentiating element of our destination.
