The Alhama City Council has recently renewed the agreement with the Moto Club Alhama for the promotion, practice and development of physical activity and activities related to motorcycling and motocross.The purpose of this agreement is to facilitate the Moto Club Alhama use of the Motocross circuit 'Las Salinas' for the organization of sporting events such as the Spanish Championship that is held each year in our town, as well as collaboration with the sports department for carrying out activities related to motorcycling.The Sports Department subsidizes the club with an amount of € 6,000 for maintenance and upkeep of the facility, in addition to undertaking the necessary repairs or actions and not allowing them to deteriorate.
It is also intended for the training of all the athletes in their charge, promoting in them 'fair play', the 'culture of effort' and the excellent values ??that sport can bring to the youth of our municipality.The agreement can be modified at any time due to the health crisis caused by Covid-19.
The Department of Sports and the Moto Club Alhama will implement in the circuit the basic protocols of responsible practices, as well as protection and hygiene of the facility, guaranteeing the safety of users at all times.
