The Alhama de Murcia City Council, through the Department of Social Welfare, has implemented an awareness campaign, consisting of the design and printing of brochures, posters and magnets for the refrigerator, with a series of tips or tricks on how to reduce the consumption of electricity and water in the home.This activity is framed within the project for the prevention of energy poverty in the municipality, which combines the call for aid for the payment of electricity, water and gas supplies, for the purchase of basic appliances that improve the energy efficiency of homes , in addition to provide strategies and guidelines to families, on responsible consumption and optimization of electricity and water.
In order to make the campaign more accessible, the material has also been translated into Arabic. A poster, an information leaflet and a notepad / magnet have been designed.
This material is estimated to reach approximately 3,000 residents of Alhama.
The materials will be disseminated from the municipal center for Social Services, as well as from the rest of the buildings and facilities of the City Council.
They will also be included on the website and corporate social networks of the City Council, in addition to their dissemination in the local media, so that they reach the maximum number of people possible.The campaign is funded by the General Directorate of Social Services and Relations with the Third Sector, framed within the Ministry of Women, Equality, LGTBI and Families.
