The Alhama de Murcia City Council has recently allocated just over 12,000 euros to remodel the Center for Child Development and Early Care, improving the accessibility of its facilities.
The objective is to offer a set of services aimed at the child population aged 0-6 years, the family and the environment, which aims to meet, as quickly as possible, the transitory or permanent needs that children with disorders present in their development or is at risk of suffering from them.
In the center, children with different difficulties are cared for, such as language disorders, psychomotor retardation, developmental disorders, hearing and visual disorders, etc.This space restarted its activity on September 1.
During this initial period, 35 children have already been cared for, in addition to monitoring another 22. During the first week the attention was carried out electronically and from September 7 in person, having retaken the therapies of the children who had previously attended, as well as the evaluation of the needs of new ones.
