This morning the mayor, Mariola Guevara, met, together with the Councilor for Health, Rosa Sánchez, with the health team at the base of the Medicalized Emergency Unit (UME) of the municipality, dependent on the Emergency and Emergency Management of the 061.
The meeting was attended by the doctor José Antonio Vallejo, the nurse María del Mar Aledo, the driver Gerardo Bañón and the health emergency technician José María Soto. This base, located in the building of the old Ventorrillo del Rojo unitary school, today on Antonio Fuertes avenue, is in charge of responding to emergency notices within the municipalities of Alhama, Totana, Aledo and Librilla.The purpose of the meeting has been to know the situation and collect the needs of this service in the face of the Covid-19 health crisis, to transfer it to those responsible for Management 061 at the next meeting, in which the parties remained located on Thursday, September 24.Sánchez has claimed that "the permanent presence of this service in its operational areas of action is essential to provide coverage for the most serious and life-threatening health emergencies, so it is absolutely necessary that their demands are covered."
