The Alhama de Murcia City Council, through the Education Council, organizes the V edition of the Effort Culture Awards, which this year recognizes a total of 21 students from the course 2019-2020. The objective of these awards is to empower and stimulate among the students of public educational centers in the municipality of Alhama de Murcia the principle of effort, to achieve a quality education that results in a better future of society and contribute to lay the foundations of a quality education and, above all, motivating that rewards effort, desire and motivation for training. The winners have been previously selected by the educational centers of the municipality in each stage (primary, secondary, high school and training cycles), and subsequently ruled by a technical commission. The awards recognize the best records, as well as students who have made a personal effort when facing disadvantageous situations, assessing their ability to excel.

They consist of an economic amount that ranges between 80 and 350 euros, depending on the category.
