A group of 15 young people from the municipalities of Alhama de Murcia and Librilla, participants of the 'Project Labor 2.0: Youth Guarantee', have started this December in the Business Nursery for Women in Alhama de Murcia, the action Training program 'Basic Skills for Employment' with a duration of 60 hours, which includes personal and social skills (24 hours), pre-employment skills (24 hours), ICT skills for job search (10 hours), as well as training in equal opportunities and gender perspective (2 hours). In the workshops, it is planned that the participants learn to function effectively in work and daily situations, that they know and learn to put into practice the necessary skills for social development; that they understand labor resources, webs to carry out a job search, training and educational resources and that they learn to use the different techniques for the job search and put them into practice. These actions are part of the program that the group for social promotion El Candil has carried out since December 2015 in the Bajo Guadalent n region, financed by the European Social Fund within the framework of the Operational Program for Youth and Community Employment.
Autonomous of the Region of Murcia. The project is aimed at young people from the municipalities of Alhama, Totana, Librilla, Aledo and Mazarr n, where among other requirements they must be beneficiaries of the National Youth Guarantee System.
The aim is to improve the employability of the participants who attend so that they can get a job and be autonomous and independent people.
The final goal is their incorporation into the labor market and getting them to stay in it with their own means and abilities.
Young people are also encouraged to consider resuming their studies in the educational system again or to undertake external training to help them achieve that final goal: job placement. El Candil works in coordination with the municipal centers of the Social Services of these municipalities and other local resources related to employment and training, to carry out coordinated work.
