Within the campaign 'The City Council of Alhama takes care of you', the municipal brigade is installing 600 polycarbonate plates on the windows of public schools and nursery schools in Alhama and its pedan�as, in order to protect children from cold drafts and be able to continue complying with the security measures of the Covid-19 pandemic with the windows open. Ventilation, along with the use of a mask, is one of the most important measures to reduce the risk of transmission in closed spaces.

Once the classes have resumed after the Christmas holidays, the minors have to live with the cold.

In this way, a quick and economical solution is given to be able to maintain the constant ventilation of the classrooms, cushioning the thermal sensation inside.� The amount of the material amounts to 6,000 euros and the installation is being carried out by the workers of the council of Infrastructure and Public Services. In addition to this initiative, the Alhama City Council has recently carried out a distribution of infant masks to school children from 1� to 6� of primary school in the urban area and its pedan�as.
