| Industrialalhama, a company owned by INFO, will invest 1.1 million euros and will allocate the new area to the services sector | The Alhama Industrial Park will be expanded by 130,000 urbanized square meters, as a result of the execution of the fifth phase of the partial development plan for the area, as agreed by the Board of Directors of the Industrialalhama business activities park.
This company is 83.23% owned by the Murcia Region Development Institute (INFO).
The planned investment for the urbanization of the enlarged area is 1.1 million euros, and will go to the service sector.
The director of INFO, Joaquín Gómez, highlighted that "the new approved development will offer complementary but very necessary services for an industrial park of these characteristics.
The park has consolidated itself as one of the pillars of industrial development in the Guadalentín valley and the expansion it will be another attraction to attract more investment, both from companies already established and from others outside our Region.
" The new area to be developed is located on the façade of the RM-2 Alhama-Cartagena highway, which will facilitate its use for the provision of the services to which it will be dedicated, among others, commercial equipment, for the hotel industry, restaurants, offices of services to companies and gas station.
Fourth phase completed For its part, the Alhama City Council has received the works of the fourth phase of the partial plan, and plots with a total area of ??110,000 square meters have been made available to the companies.
Industrialalhama maintains sustained and sustainable growth, and the sale of two new plots for the expansion of companies operating in the food and metalworking sector has recently been completed.
The Board also authorized the purchase of new land by the company, for future extensions.
To date, Industrialalhama has already acquired nearly 600,000 square meters, out of a total planned for future developments of one million square meters.
The INFO director assured that "Industrialhama is an excellent example of collaboration between the local and regional Administration, whose main beneficiaries are companies and the improvement of their competitiveness, by having well-equipped and constantly improving facilities." The Industrialhama society, a public company that promotes the Alhama Industrial Park, was established in 1986, has a share capital of 3,211,851 euros and its shareholding composition is made up of the INFO (83.23 percent), the Alhama City Council ( 13.02 percent), the Autonomous Community (1.87 percent) and the company itself (1.87 percent).
