On February 17, the mayor, Diego Conesa, met in Murcia with the Minister of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment, Juan Hernandez Albarracín.
At the meeting they have tried basics of training and qualifications, as this counseling manages the Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia (SEF).
Specifically, they have agreed to initiate contacts with different CEOs in matters of employment and tourism with the aim of coordinating training activities aimed at the tourist qualification, both managers and workers in the sector.
Also the possibility that those unemployed Alhama they have to do training and qualification in Murcia, eligible for scholarships covering their movements.
The local government has transferred to the Ministry some development initiatives contemplated in the municipality, especially the valorization of the hot springs as a driving engine of economic, social development, trade and tourism, which can attract the industry through private hotels and other accommodation.
In addition, the parties have tried Alhama bet for companies implementing language immersion (language) in the town, especially in their districts.
The Mayor has shown its willingness to collaborate with the Director the Autonomous Region in these projects, since Diego Conesa is a member of the Commission on Trade and Consumer Affairs in the Spanish Federation of Municipalities.
