This morning he proceeded to the restoration of the sculpture of the Nazarene, located on the square of the same name, between the streets of San Francisco Javier and Constitution Avenue Alhama de Murcia.
The work consisted in the replacement of the badge with the emblem of the Board of Brotherhoods, which had been torn off, and a general cleaning of the outer oxide sculpture (patina) bronze and application of waxes for preservation .
The restoration has been carried out by the same company that made the sculpture, Amando Art Foundry, and involved a total amount of 1,028.50 euros, after 10 years without maintenance.
The City Council asked to respect the spaces and public property of the municipality, whose damaged by vandalism must pay together.
