The number of unemployed registered at the office of the National Employment Institute (INEM) in Murcia at the end of May stood at 1,718 people, according to data released Wednesday by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security.
By age groups we find the highest concentration between 25 and 44, 854 people, although a figure to consider is that of 678 people who are older than 45 years and are unemployed.
As for sex, women are the largest number, a total of 1,023 women compared to 695 men, surpassing the number both in the age group of 25-44 years and in over 45 years.
By nationality, the data off that 1338 people are Spanish, 66 are from Europe or European economic space and 314 people from abroad or outside Europe.
By sex, the differences are also noble.
In terms of sectors, we find that the service sector includes the largest number of unemployed, 669 people, followed by industry and agriculture 573 people with 198 people, concentrating the construction sector to 87 people.
By sex in terms of sectors women are appearing in greater numbers in any of them.
And if we look at unemployment by academic standards, it is noted that the highest concentration of unemployed have secondary education, specifically 1082 people, including 594 men and 488 women.
But also they jump out at 291 people with incomplete studies, or 93 people who have Postsecondary studies of 1st, 2nd and 3rd also are unemployed.
