The number of unemployed registered at the office of the National Employment Institute (INEM) in Alhama de Murcia at the end of June stood at 1,750 people, 32 more than in May, according to data released Monday by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security.
By age groups we find the highest concentration between 25 and 44, 869 people, although a figure to consider is that of 693 people who are older than 45 years and are unemployed.
As for sex, women remain the largest number, a total of 1005 women compared to 745 men, outnumbering both in the age group of 25-44 years and in over 45 years.
By nationality, the data off that 1323 people are Spanish, 71 are from Europe or European economic space and 356 people from abroad or outside Europe.
By sex, the differences are also noble.
In terms of sectors, we find that the service sector continues to collect the largest number of unemployed, 670 people, followed by industry with 571 people and agriculture with 233, sector that has increased since May piled up 198 people concentrating finally the construction sector 85 people.

And if we look at unemployment by academic standards, it is noted that the highest concentration of unemployed have secondary education, specifically 1087 people, including 583 men and 504 women.
