The City of Alhama de Murcia has got a grant to provide the service and care programs for women victims of gender violence, through an agreement with the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities.

This does increase the hours of psychological care provided at the Point of Care (PAE) for women victims of this problem.

This was one of the requests made the municipal government last January at the meeting held in the Ministry of Equality with its various directorates-general (http://www.alhamademurcia.es/noticia.asp?cat=5941).

The purpose of the grant is to assist women victims of domestic violence and provide individual and group treatment, receiving advice and necessary to integrate into society and overcome the consequences of abuse who have been victims of attention.

Starting next Monday, PAE service will be Monday through Thursday morning and afternoon.
