On Monday July 11 began at school Antonio Machado, Alhama, the current user of plant protection products, basic level, the Department of Environment, in collaboration with the Union of Small Farmers and Ranchers of Totana, organized to train parcelistas of Organic Allotment gardens.
This course is an important part of the various training activities that the City Council periodically organizes to make it easier to cultivate vegetables throughout the year are taking place in 66 plots of gardens.
In this case the course has been organized at the request of the owners of these plots following the November 26 last year entered into force on Royal Decree 1311/2012 by which the sustainable use of plant protection products is regulated and It requires them to have the card user, not only for treatment but also to purchase such substances to practice organic farming.
The course is free and lasts 25 hours, 24 of which are taught in Alhama, while the latter devoted to the examination is carried out in the Center for Integrated Agricultural Training and Experience Lorca.
That test is already convened on July 21.
The same July 11 began a similar course in the Business Incubator in this case aimed at farmers in general and organized by the Department of Employment and Local Development.
